Así creo que lo diríamos en Españas. Creo que es más frecuente "plazos de matricula" que "plazos de matriculación". "Período de matriculación" es igualmente frecuente. Esto queda confirmado en Google.
Por otra parte, "admisión" implica una selección, por ejemplo, por número clausus. A veces simplemente los xx primeros matriculados en un curso son los admitidos.

Creo que "six intakes" es forma abreviada de "(student) intake periods", que significa lo mismo que "(student) registration periods":
