English term or phrase: BSc (Hons)
I know that an Honours degree can be translated as "Licenciatura de honor", but if someone uses the designation "BSc (Hons)" after their name, what is the best way of expressing these letters in Spanish? Would you simply use "Lic" even though it doesn't seem to capture the full meaning of it being a Bachelor of Science Honours degree? Please assume a UK target audience when responding. Thanks.

I can see the merits of all the answers provided and appreciated the discussion entries also. It's difficult to choose between the answers because of the differences in qualifications, but in the end I decided to opt for this one.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Something along these lines is what I was thinking of.

Asker: I think that would be even better. It's for a CV so it's best to keep it nice and concise. I wasn't sure if they would be familar with this type of abbreviation in Spanish-speaking countries, but if they are, that would be great.

Explanation:
England, Wales and Northern Ireland
The degrees awarded carry a designation related to the broad subject area such as BA, BSc, BEng etc. The majority of Bachelor's degrees are now honours degrees. Prior to the mid 20th century some candidates (but not, for example, at Oxford or Cambridge) would take an Ordinary degree, and then be selected to go on for a final year for the Honours degree. A first degree course is usually three years, but it might be reduced to two either by direct second year entry (for people who have done foundation degrees or changed subject or similar) or by doing compressed courses (which are being piloted by several newer universities). [2] For funding reasons (funding for undergraduate programs is automatic, funding for postgraduate programs is not) it is becoming increasingly common to skip the Bachelor's stage entirely and go straight to Masters level on a four year (five year if with industrial experience) course (which often shares the first two years with the equivalent Bachelor's course).
