Looking at the web page (not just at the image), you find that it sells toys and equipment for children, probably schools also. The parent company seems to be Learning Port, "an educational supply and specialty toy store located in El Cajon California, about 17 miles east of the City of San Diego, California"... So, the original material may have been used as a car mat, but now they make mats for children areas...
Then, I'd say "alfombrillas" de goma, probablemente, para niños.

Asker: Bueno, para aclarar pronto, nunca fue una alfombra/tapete/alfombrilla PARA o DE automóvil. Es una alfombra o tapete pequeño con un circuito vial decorado con carreteras, gasolineras, edificios y áreas verdes para que transiten AUTOS de juguete (dale un vistazo al contexto), y donde los niños "juegan a los cochecitos", como decimos en México. Como te darás cuenta, mi pregunta pertenece al área de "Education / Pedagogy / Young & Older Toddlers", según dice en el encabezado de esta consulta. Y mi pregunta, ya bien contestada por las colegas Alicia y Rosa, se refiere a ¿cómo se les llama a estos juguetitos? De todas maneras, muchas gracias por investigar y externar tu opinión. Cheers!
