Explanation:
"libertad vigilada" is the term used in Mexico for "probation". Depending who this is for, you can use: "libertad asistida" in Colombia; "libertad a prueba" in Chile. The term "perifericos" (con acento) is used for informal programs usually offered to first offenders before they become involved in Juvenile Court.
