Explanation:
exceso de participación o exceso de involucramiento sería una manera de traducir más o menos literalmente lo que en castellano llamamos sobreprotección de los hijos. Sin embargo, en inglés hay una diferenciación entre parental overinvolvement y overprotection aparentemente mínima.
