Encontré troncal o de base en el glosario pero no me parece que sea la traducción, pensé también en "introductorio" pero no da la idea. Creo que el término correcto sería "de nivelación" o nivelatorio. Me gustaría saber si se entiende el término en otros países de América Latina.
También se escuchan otras ideas, por supuesto.

No sé para qué país está dirigido el documento final pero tanto nivelación como propedéutico funcionan en este contexto. Muchas Universidades en Latino América lo llaman propedéutico. De hecho, en mi caso particular tuve que realizar un semestre llamado así antes de ingresar a la Escuela de Ingeniería en Venezuela, sin importar que ya tenía estudios técnicos previos. Saludos.
