estoy traduciendo un expediente académico de la Universidad de San Diego, California. Tengo dudas sobre algunas abreviaturas, las iré poniendo en diferentes preguntas. Va la primera:

WRITING INTENSIVE - Five courses of writing composition will be required of all BSE candidates. Six hrs must be completed in the freshman level and two of the three remaining courses must be taken at the junior and/or senior level. Two upper division courses are required for Teacher Education majors. (WI courses may be identified in the "schedule of classes" by a "WI" placed at the end of the course number.)
