English term or phrase: biliterate
I have seen the term \"biletrado\" used. Is this proper Spanish? and is it widely understood? I tend to define the term which always makes the transaltion much longer. What is your opinion?

Que sabe leer y escribir en dos idiomas
Explanation:
If "literate" means to be able to read and write and "bilingual" means to be able to speak two languages...I would say "biliterate" would mean to be able to read and write in two languages. I dont think there is a single term in Spanish to say that.

Well, a shorter description would be \"alfabetizado en los dos idiomas\"
