agree  Paulina Gómez: Otra vez de acuerdo, Henri. Es menos ostentoso decir no ponderado que decir sin peso estadístico. Sin embargo, habría que ver si se trata del caso especial de peso estadístico aplicado a calificaciones de colegio, lo cual sí se da. Ver mi nota añadida.

agree  Patricia Posadas: Totalmente de acuerdo con la respuesta y el comentario. Se habla de 'peso estadístico' en otros contextos (peso estadístico de una variable, de un indicador,etc.) pero el promedio es ponderado o no ponderado.

Explanation:
GPA, si la traducción es para dentro de los Estados Unidos, lo dejaría tal cual, sin traducción. Non weighted GPA sería traducido como "GPA sin peso estadístico", o simplemente GPA, si se trata de un colegio (highschool).
Si se trata de un college o universidad, la cosa cambia un poco porque el GPA ya es un promedio de notas con peso estadístico. En este caso GPA se traduciría como "Promedio Ponderado" ( Cada nota de curso tiene un peso relativo de acuerdo con el número de créditos de la materia)
Pero además en algunos colegios y "colleges" se añade otro peso estadístico, por nivel del curso, honores, etc. Te incluyo algunas enlaces:

Aunque en este caso creo que es mejor decir promedio de calificaciones (o de notas según el contexto), no ponderado, si es necesario aclarar que en este contexto del GPA a nivel de colegio, si se habla, y con frecuencia , de peso estadístico; se obtienen \"ranks\" diferentes, de acuerdo a criterios nacionales o locales de excelencia, nivel de exigencia de cursos superiores, etc., asignándose a cveces un puntaje de 5 (en vez de cuatro, por ejemplo), a ciertos cursos. Esto ha dado lugar a polémicas por parte de padres y asociaciones de padres de familia que no ven este sistema con buenos ojos en cuanto a oportunidades de los alumnos de ingresar luego a ciertos \"colleges\" o universidades, al utilizar pesos diversos a nivel de colegio. Hay diversos enlaces al respecto de esta polémica, a nivel de bachillerato. Ver, por ejemplo:
