English term or phrase:"credit for contact"
The overwhelmingly dominant model of instruction in
university education, especially at the undergraduate level, is *credit-for-contact*. In this model,
the student's progress and the faculty member's instructional contribution are measured by hours
of contact in lecture hall, seminar room, or laboratory.”
¿Alguien me puede confirmar si la frase en cuestión es "acreditación por asistencia"?
Muchas gracias,
Cecilia
It isn't acreditation. I think "credit" just means 'class units earned.' Or unit-hours. You must accumulate credits to eventually earn an acreditation.

credit for contact
crédito por horas de contacto
Explanation: Más claro decir "horas", creo.
