There are a lot of "native american " nations (sioux, cheyenes, zuni, crees, apachees, comanches, seminoles... etc etc) .
many of them have their own language.

In english (pc) a native american is an indian.

On a second thought in ESL we call English speakers native spoeakers if they come from a country where they speak English, so English would be the American native language
