English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy / social studies/history | | English term or phrase: large-scale rural-to-urban migrations | I'm wondering if the use of hyphens can be translated from English into Spanish or if I will have to say the same thing using more words.
(This has to do with the migration of people from the country to the cities). |

I don't think you can hyphenate "a gran escala" but the is only an extra "a" after all. As for hyphenating "campo-ciudad", I think there is no problem in doing so. I checked Google for usage and found over 1000 examples. It appears both hyphenated and unhyphenated, but I would opt for the hyphen.
