English term or phrase: reader/associate professor

Gracias.

Catedrático/profesor titular
Explanation:
An associate professor is someone immediately under the full professor. He or she is by no means an adjunct professor; he or she has both tenure and seniority. He or she has proven experience teaching introductory and advanced courses, undergraduate and graduate curricula. An associate professor, like the full professor, must have a Ph.D. and authorship. Deputy implies no transient capacity. It implies a subsidiary or subordinate position to someone who holds an immediately superior rank.

Mil gracias.

profesor adjunto

Explanation:
I agree with your translation. I'm not so sure if I would translate "reader" as profesor.
I would put "profesor adjunto" and leave it like that.

NO

Explanation:

THis is the best I could explain it.
