Hola María Eugenia, por lo que entiendo, el embalamiento se refiere más bien a máquinas rotativas como motores, turbinas, etc.; el término que propongo (y coincido con Robert) es más general, para cualquier tipo de equipo eléctrico. Por otro lado, "embalamiento" se asocia frecuentemente con un punto en la operación en que se excede el límite normal, se pierde el control y se daña el equipo rotatorio.

Asker: Muchas gracias, Jorge. Encontré "tiempo de embalamiento", que es lo que tarda un aparato en alcanzar su máxima velocidad de funcionamiento.

Asker: Se trata de los equipos de un molino de piedra caliza, y no puede ser tiempo de partida, porque tengo "start time". En el diccionario de L. Robb para ingenieros encontré run-up = embalamiento, y le creo. ¡Muchísimas gracias!
