Commutation overshoots are given careful consideration in the valve design. Critical operation modes are simulated by implementing a detailed TCR valve model in a 3-phase HF model consisting of the TCR valve (including detailed thyristor turn-off model), TCR reactors, filter circuits and SVC transformer connected to a network equivalent. |
