I am translating a text on an electrical device. It's pretty technical and there's a term I can't find the translation of.
The instructions are on how to connect the device to a AC power supply.
The text reads:
Connect the direct AC wiring terminal block to the unit.
Attach the direct AC wiring terminal block to the ***knockout plate*** on the base of the {ut1}.
Does anyone know what a knockout plate is? Could it be a "placa de desconexión"? I can't even get the idea...
