English to Spanish translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Energy / Power Generation | | English term or phrase: taking-in (weight/dimensions) | Hola a todos/as,
estoy con un texto sobre calderas de calefacción. En las típicas listas de características aparecen las siguientes expresiones:
Taking-in weight
Taking-in dimensions
acompañadas de unas cifras (en kg o en mm respectivamente), en algunos casos referidas como "mínimas" (nunca se habla de valores máximos). Como posible pista, las magnitudes de "taking-in" son siempre inferiores al peso neto y las dimensiones de la caldera.
Lamento no disponer de más contexto...
Aparentemente "taking-in" podría ser "admisión", "aceptación" o "absorción", pero no tengo ni idea de si las expresiones que se forman tienen algún sentido.
