The paragraph:
Toolholder head (fix); equipped with ID tracking wheel to follow tube profile plus tool to chamfer according to API 5L specifications (outside chamfering 30° *from the tube face and facing only*). Note: to be employed only when chamfering according to API 5L specifications.
I know chamfering means "biselado", for welding pipe lengths, but 'face and facing' is giving me trouble. I don't have drawings to "see" what's going on withthis machine.

face sería el frente o el anverso pero me pareció mas adecuado superficie
facing=providing something with a surface of a different material
yo diría que eso es recubrir o revestir. Entonces se leería: (biselado exterior a 30° de la superficie del tubo y recubriéndolo solamente). Espero que tenga sentido....Suerte! |
