Explanation:
Casrcasa no me acuerdo si es con s o z y no tengo el DRAE a mano.
Los medidores (si de eso se trata) habitualmente tienen una base de aluminio fundido y una tapa de chapa, también de aluminio, estampada. También los he visto de plástico. Me llama la atención lo de mecanizada a menos que se refiera a los agujeros roscados que posee, siempre y cuando se trate del medidor.
