Características de un reloj de pulsera.

The XXX watch is powered by a manual winding manufacture movement that has an 8-day power reserve, which is achieved by the use of two barrel springs operating in series.

No logro descifrar el significado de la palabra "manufacture" en este contexto.
Además, la misma aparece en cursiva, como destacando esa cualidad del producto.

¿Será "artesanal" o algo similar?

A veces se usa el término *manfacture* para indicar un conjunto o sub conjunto pre-ensamblado que se incorpora al resto de la máquina. Incluso el subconjunto puedeprovenir de otro fabricante.

Interpreto la frase asi:
... el movimiento utiliza un mecanismo manual de cuerda de manufactura (o fabricado) y dotado de reserva de energía para 8 días ....

La clave de la palabra "manufactura" es que este mecanismo está fabricado en series y no a mano por un relojero.

Así es como traduciría "manufacture movement". Me parece que se quiere indicar que se trata de un reloj "mecánico" y no "electrónico". El término "mecanismo" bastaría en ese caso.

Darío, en una de sus acepciones "Movement: the moving parts of a mechanism (spec. a clock or watch) [OED]". Con referencia a relojería, siempre he considerado "the movement" como el mecanismo del reloj, no me constaba que fuera una pieza concreta del reloj.
