Reference information: En el PDF de la primera referencia se describe una sonda que trabaja directamente en contacto con la corriente de gases. Se acopla a la chimenea o ducto mediante un tubo o vaina de acople (que sería el *stinger*) y lleva una empaquetadura para evitar el escape de gases. Para retirar la sonda para mantenimiento es necesario detener el sistema. La otra posibilidad es que se instale un tubo perforado a través de la pared de la chimenea o ducto, para capturar una muestra de los gases y conducirlos hasta el analizador, el cual queda fuera de la chimenea.
