La segunda referencia que te doy me hace pensar más en "respiradero" que en "drenaje", pero al ser un término tan común en inglés no se si atreverme.

Explanation:
Barbara: veo que te tocó bailar con el más feo ;-) Desgloso: bore-sight es un instrumento de iluminación y observación óptica directa (para ver en el interior de tubos o para orientarlos - ver boresight para armas); a daylight lo interpreto como que va al exterior, por eso elegí aire libre. Contanos si hay más contexto. ¡Suerte!
