Long-term Independent Science and Monitoring Program

The scope of monitoring will include all biodiversity features identified in the BAP, and the geographic scale will include all areas impacted directly by xxxx as well as the full extent of the protected areas supported by yyy.

Metrics, at the level of each biodiversity feature, are provided in the BAP Workbook. Core biological metrics will include:

• Species of Concern
o All species until defensible surrogates available
o Trends in abundance, distribution, demographic parameters
o Effectiveness of species-specific mitigation measures
• Landscape attributes
o Forest area
o Connectivity, patch size etc. through remote sensing
• Ecosystem services
