English term or phrase: 'scrapes' in this context.
*Fares for this analysis were searched every 14 days from the October 2006 until September 2007. Each search scrapes fares for the next 91 days in the future from the date of collection.

Context: the analysis in question is the average price or return flights from different airlines. The airline's text argues that they provide their clients with the most economical return flights. This paragraph, of which I am only giving you a short summary, has a footnote, which is the sentence above where 'scrapes' appears.

What is it actually saying? I am not sure I understand the meaning/use of the term 'scrapes' in this sentence.

Thanks you for your help
Regards
Joaquim

recoger / recopilar
Explanation:
This is just a guess really based on the context, but according to MW "to scrape" can also be "to collect" / "to gather"

Thanks yourself, I don't think I was much help, as the answer was kind of implied by the context (that said, you're not getting the points back!!!) :O)
