*Fares for this analysis were searched every 14 days from the October 2006 until September 2007. Each search scrapes fares for the next 91 days in the future from the date of collection.

Context: the analysis in question is the average price or return flights from different airlines. The airline's text argues that they provide their clients with the most economical return flights. This paragraph, of which I am only giving you a short summary, has a footnote, which is the sentence above where 'scrapes' appears.

What is it actually saying? I am not sure I understand the meaning/use of the term 'scrapes' in this sentence.
