English term or phrase: on a fully-hedged basis
Good evening everyone!

I am translating a text on financial matters and although I was quite sure about the meaning of the term I am asking about, I am doubting now as I found different options with different meanings.

The phrase is "on a fully-hedged basis" y su contexto es:

"The fund’s return outperformed the overall market during the last period. On a fully-hedged basis, the YYYY Index returned 0.89%. "

Thank you very much in advance,
