English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Science - Fisheries / Aquaculture
English term or phrase: primerly
I don't believe this is a word, it's not in my Oxford, and it appears to be a malapropism in most of the google hits, but could be common American usage (I don't know). The context is this rather "iffy" sentence:
"Over the last decade, cryopreservation of fish spermatozoa is still in its *primerly* and confined to different aquatic species..."

Looks like it was written by a non-native.

I don\'t see it in any dictionary either. It usually appears as a mispelling of \"primarily\", but even that doesn\'t fit the context.

agree  Arcoiris: yes. The whole sentence is badly written

agree  hirselina: Yes, probably "in its infancy" is what is meant. But then "over het last decade" seems wrong
