Explanation:
Hi Herminia,

Si es para España, diría "tosta", es muy común. Un montadito, sí, pero tostado al grill y sin tapar. Creo que sería más típico de un restaurante español que los sandwiches y tiene más 'glamour' que los montaditos, aunque venga a parecerse mucho (el montadito puede tostarse o no).

You find some hits for "sandwich tostado" in Google, but I've never heard a live person use it.

It just occurred to me to comment that toasties are invariably made on "pan de molde" NOT a French roll/French bread.

agree  Claudia Robles: Estoy de acuerdo con "Sandwiches" y mejor si le pones calientes como sugirio Nedra. En Inglaterra son muy comunes los "cheese toasties" por ejemplo y esos son sandwiches calientes de queso en pan miga o molde. Ojala te sirva!
