"The lectern was the most difficult piece of design. The information I received on the requirements changed as I was designing it. I’ve previously designed lecterns which proved to be very helpful. My original idea was to create an elegant female form. As the information changed the final version became a bit ***squat*** by comparison; I still like it though."

si puedes imaginar a una sílfide al lado de un gnomo, la idea original sería la sílfide, y la versión final el gnomo. La sílfide representa una estética refinada, mientras el gnomo representa la fuerza -- es la diferencia entre la feminidad y la masculinidad. El cliente prefirió la fuerza a la belleza estética.
