Hi Everybody,

I need help here.

Here is some context:

A: I am in against one player. All of a sudden, I find I am out 7. Then, I am into him for 5.
B: Hundreds? A: What hundreds? Thousands.
El Pokerino, all of a sudden, he gets really hot. And he's murdering me. And the next thing I know, he gets cold.

Thanks in advance,

Daniela

estar perdiendo 7
Explanation:
Me parece que los números se refieren a la plata apostada, no a la cantidad de jugadores. Es sólo una suposición basada en el diálogo posterior. Espero sirva como punta del iceberg, a ver qué dicen los demás.

agree  jack_speak: he's losing 7 thousand, then he's up 5 thousand. Often we say up and down for winning and losing. In and out in this context appears to mean exactly the same thing.
