Spanish translation:bebé (niño o niña)
Explanation:
Hello,

I live in the South of Spain and we usually use "bebé" for a baby regardless whether it is a boy or a girl. Only when we want to insist on the gender would we say then "un niño" or "una niña", but the term baby would not then be mentioned.
Hope this helps.

bebé/beba

Explanation:
You can use bebé for both, but usually it´s the masculine noun, beba is the feminine.
