English to Spanish translations [PRO] General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters | | English term or phrase: you "axed" for it | Hi again. A character has been trying to use a saw to chop a fallen log into more manageable pieces, and after failing, he goes to get an axe. He then comes back to the log and says: 'Okay, you axed for it!'.
I think it's quite unlikely there's a way to preserve the pun in Spanish, but I'm asking just in case someone has a brilliant idea. TIA. |
