English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Government / Politics / Social Security - Unemployment insurance hearing
English term or phrase: E.R. No.
In a NOTICE OF UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE HEARING, after "in the case of xx" there appears the case No. and this term "S.S.N. or E.R.No. XXXX", followed by Adjudication Services Office. The rest indicates purpose of the hearing and instructions.
I know what SSN is and I assume E.R. is some kind of ID, either for employers or something different but I can't seem to find what it is, much less a translation.
If anyone can tell me what it is, that would be great! I imagine I could find a translation if I knew what the letters stand for.
The translation is for US residents.
Thanks in advance!!!

(número de) registro patronal
Explanation:
Creo que las siglas "E.R." corresponden a "Employer Registration", y me parece que "employer registration number" podría traducirse "número de registro patronal":

"3b. New York State Unemployment Insurance Employer Registration Number (E.R. No.):"

En una pregunta anterior, "registro patronal" se tradujo "employer registration number":

Seguro Social Patronal

Explanation:
This is correct for Puerto Rico. I have forms written in Spanish from a bank, and this is what they call it. If you google it you get quite a few hits.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thank you Jessica! I was wondering, is it the same as "EIN" (Employer Identification Number) used to identify a business entity? The term I was referring is from a document in New York, could they have a different number to identify employers per state as well as a federal number (EIN)?
