History
English term or phrase: and what a land it is
particularly prone to epic family feuds. What they were
fighting for, of course, was control of the land, and what a
land it is. Due in part to its proximity to the equator in
relation to the rest of Scotland, and also the warm breeze
wafting off the Gulf Stream, the climate, by this country’s
standard, is positively tropical. Some people here even have
suntans.

Buenas:

El problema que veo es que en el original no hay exclamaciones, de manera que no veo justificación para darle esa nueva dimensión a la versión española. En función de lo que va antes y después de la frase, creo que “y no se trata de una tierra cualquiera” podría encajar muy bien.
