English to Spanish translations [PRO] History / II Guerra Mundial | | English term or phrase: "Fairy Command" | El contexto es el relato de una experincia en la II GM: "Our new Commander found he couldn't stomach the food and got sick, so it was soon decided our plight should be reported to what we called The Fairy Command in Cairo. ('Fairy' was a take-off on the Ferry Command pilots who flew new planes over to the war zones from the US.)
No entiendo qué es eso de "Fairy Command" y lo de que Fairy was a take off...
