barril sin fondo


Explanation:
Si bien no es una traducción muy literal, creo que el sentido concuerda, dado que quiere decir "recibieron un montón de dinero que se iba y se iba, y no se veía adónde".
Barril sin fondo es una expresión muy usual cuando algo o alguien gasta mucho dinero o come demasiado y no para nunca...
Por tanto, aunque suene exagerado o raro, me gusta esta expresión.
