English term or phrase: hold the grains
It's regarding training and best practices. For this phrase, I don't have much context, but it has different phases with a sentence after it: measure, analyze, improve and control. On the control part it says:

Control: Hold the grains

I know it's not literal... any thoughts?

Thanks!

neutral  Refugio: I love Sterne, but I am not sure this is the intended meaning here.//Control in English doesn't have quite the same meaning as in Spanish. I dont't see the connection with 'learning'.
