Hola a todos,
Estoy traduciendo el cuestionario de un estudio sobre el trabajo portuario en la UE realizado por un consorcio de consultores. En la carta de presentación de la Comisión Europea, hay un párrafo que reza asì:

"The consultants will require a great deal of detailed facts and business' independent opinions, which both the consultants and the European Commission undertake to treat with the degree of discretion commensurate with information of this nature.

No tengo claro el sentido de la frase "business' independent opinions" ¿Se refiere a empresas independientes? ¿A opiniones independientes? Me parece un orden extraño.

opiniones independientes del mundo empresarial

Explanation:
El adjetivo "independent" modifica al sustantivo "opinions", no a "business'". Mi primer reflejo habría sido traducirlo por "opiniones independientes de las empresas", pero como el original inglés tiene "business" en singular, mejor usar un sintagma singular en español también (aunque la otra opción también sería válida).
