Results show that Hispanics Cite More Barriers to Saving than other Americans
Charlotte, N.C. – Christopher Butler, Wachovia’s Hispanic Segment Director, will discuss the current savings crisis in America. More than half of Americans (52%) say that they currently cannot afford to save or are saving inadequately, per a comprehensive survey released by the Consumer Federation of America (CFA) and Wachovia. According to the survey, although Hispanics save more money, they cite “Impulse Spending” and “Spending to Feel Good” as common barriers to saving. Mr. Butler will discuss this and other key aspects of the survey in more detail as well as factors that can aid Hispanics financially. |
