HOLA

Creo que esto debe ser una frase común en inglés, pero no se cómo se traduciría al español. Es un curso sobre cómo hacer presentaciones de ventas. En este caso se explica el acuerdo que han hecho dos partes (los términos acordados entre un vendedor y el cliente). Cuando el vendedor termina de explicar, dice:

How does that compare with your understanding?

No estoy segura si esto es una frase que el vendedor diría al cliente o si es una pregunta dirigida a las personas que están realizando el curso para hacer mejores presentaciones de ventas.

Explanation:
The question is to the course attendees. He wants to know if what he's just explained is similar/different to what they already knew/understood on the subject.

I think this would be the most concise way to render it in Spanish. If not you would have to say, "¿Qué diferencia hay entre..." and the question would be very long!

teníais would be more for Spain, and I believe tenían would be more usual in Central and South America.
