En cuántos asuntos estamos metidos Explanation: Yo entiendo lo entiendo de esta forma: Be involved with many projects simultaneously. If you have a finger in the pie, you have an interest in something. Así que se ocurre: "En cuántos asuntos estamos metidos/tratamos, metemos baza." El tuyo de cuantas cuerda tocamos no me parece nada mal, de hecho creo que se dice así aquí en España, al igual que "hilos manejamos" No es de mucha ayuda, pero al menos apoya tu opción.
