this is a slang term used in english language, meaning insurance rates too high...how would this be translated correctly in the spanish language when used in reference to car insurance rates?

Bàrbara Planas, Ph.D.: 4:12pm Sep 27, 2006: Are you sure you are on the right track. I always understood that "gone to the dogs"meant informally deteriorating, degenerating morally or physically. As in "This neighborhood is going to the dogs"
How can this mean in your case that the rates are high?

En castellano cuando el precio/valor de algo sube demasiado se usa la frase 'el precio se fue (o esta) por las nubes. Es una expression bastante informal por lo cual yo no la usaria en la traduccion de un texto con cierta formalidad.
