Bus/Financial - Insurance / Insurance
English term or phrase: trade contractors

Spanish translation:artesanos contratistas
Explanation:

Tailored coverage for commercial and residential trade contractors...

This portion points to the fact that these sub-contractors are often categorised using more than one rule. Some are apprentices, others are licensed and still others are \"masters\". Then the categorization continues: Commercial vis a vis residential to illustrate that some are more experienced in the construction of one over the other type of structure. From a single family home to a 70 storey high-rise there is considerable difference in how the tradesmen are rated and the licenses they have to acquire. Artesano seems to me a valid answer since the other available options: \"Obrero\", too general and a connotation of pure manual labour, no skills.
\"Constructor\" is sometimes used in Latam but is often confused for the developer. \"Empleados de la construcción\" is also too general and is usually part of some labour union title.
\"Sub-contratistas\" might not be accurate enough since many times General Contractors perform all work involved in a given project and no (or very few) subs are involved.
Just some considerations

Programa de seguros de contratistas comerciales

Explanation:

-> The selection was based on the TL more than anyhting. I have found that artisan is not used for this industry in the US. Latam seems more inclined to award a title to highly skilled manual labour when possible. But, thanks. Still thinking.
