Estoy teniendo problemas para traducir bien esta frase.
El contexto es el mismo de mi pregunta anterior: se habla de operaciones de mantenimiento de la paz y de los obstáculos recientes a los que se están enfrentando para llevar a cabo sus tareas.

La frase completa sería la siguiente:

"The sustained attention and specialised resources ***required risk being undercut*** by the demands of the largest and most expensive missions today".

En general me cuesta expresar la frase entera sin ser demasiado retorcida en su estructura.
