agree  María Teresa Taylor Oliver: Sí. Trabajo en Canon, así que sé algo de esto. Usan "outprint" para significar que es la impresión en papel, en vez de una impresión hacia un archivo (PDF, por ejemplo). EOF significa "end of line", by the way...

La otra posibilidad es utilizar el plural, pues se trata seguramente de hojas impresas. Por ej. al final hay que usar necesariamente el plural "Total Outprint": Total impresiones.

En un programa informático es posible generar una impresión "interna" -por el ejemplo, la "vista preliminar" de Word.

La impresión externa o a un dispositivo externo es cuando dicha impresión se realiza imprimiendo por ejemplo en una impresora.

Por cierto, discrepo de la indicación de Maria Teresa Taylor Oliver, puesto que el dispositivo externo puede ser perfectamente un disco.

Por otra parte, su indicación que \"EOF significa \'end of line\'\" es incorrecta - como todos los informáticos sabemos, EOF es \"end of file\", y es un código devuelvo por el sistema operativo cuando se intenta leer más allá del final de un fichero...
