English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Journalism / Critical article | | English term or phrase: insiders | The text is from a film magazine, the article deals with the massive spread of digital projectors in American cinemas and the controversy it generated. Here's the extract:
Last June, a Credit Suisse First Boston digital cinema sector report flatly stated that digital projection is "not yet ready for prime time," citing among other things the prohibitive cost of projectors and the lack of both minimun technical standards and a sound business plan. Most INSIDERS agreed that at least the general conclusions were correct.
My tentative translation is: La mayoría de los entendidos estuvo de acuerdo con que al menos las conclusiones generales fueron acertadas.
The thing is that "entendido" is a person who has a wide knowledge of something, as appears in RAE's dictionary http://buscon.rae.es/draeI/SrvltConsulta?TIPO_BUS=3&LEMA=ent... , but the idea of "insider" is that the person handles confidential information as well. Does anybody have a better idea?

Esto nos indica que ya este servicio de “radiodifusión” a través de la red mundial, puede ser operado por nuevos inversionistas y promotores, no precisamente radiodifusores tradicionales o allegados a la industria.
También podrías decir "fuentes de la industria".
En castellano usamos "industria" más que "sector" en el caso de la cinematografía.
