I would like to change the Spanish document to “under affirmation,” instead of “under oath” with the goal being the notarization of my signing rather than my swearing an oath before a legal officer.

Can anyone tell me the proper way this is done in Mexico?
The full sentence is: Por medio de la presente, declaro bajo protesta de decir verdad que mi representada y todos sus empleados cumplirán con los siguientes criterios de confidencialidad relacionados con la prueba de concepto que estaremos llevando a cabo en conjunto con la ..."

En Mexico se usa el término "Protesta decir la verdad" y no se "jura decir la verdad". Esto se debe a la separación de iglesia y estado.
Por eso "bajo protesta" no se puede traducir como "under oath".
El hecho de que uno declara decir la verdad bajo protesta es, precisamente, para evitar prestar juramento, o declarar bajo juramento.
Existe una diferencia importante entre "oath" y "afirmation".
