Explanation:
Es una posibilidad. Lo que sí es seguro es que "arrest" NO es "arresto", como casi siempre se traduce. El "arresto" en España es una pena que sólo puede ser impuesta por un juez (Ej.: arresto domiciliario). La policía puede detenerte, pero no arrestarte.

neutral  María Eugenia Wachtendorff: En América Latina arrestan a la gente por conducir en estado de ebriedad, o alterar el orden público, por ejemplo. Estoy segura que en EEUU usan la misma terminología. Saludos.
