In a custody issue, the plaintiff is filing a motion to reargue after the trial.

This is the definition: Motion to reargue is similar to an appeal, in that it is an argument that the trial court made a mistake. It differs from an appeal in that it is made before the same judge which heard the case at trial.

REVISIÓN
1. Acción y efecto de volver a examinar una resolución judicial.
2. Recurso mediante el cual se ipugnan las resoluciones e la Suprema Corte de Justicia, nlos casos de competencia originaria, a los fectos de obtener su reconsideración, por parte de la misma Corte.
3. Recurso extraordinario que procede contra las sentencias definitivas o interlocutorias firmes que ponen fin al proceso, cuando se den las causales establecidas en la ley y cuya decisión compete a la SCJ.

En cambio, para REVOCACIÓN, da la sig.definición:
1. Acción y efecto de privar de eficaci a una relación jurídica, porvolntad unilateral de una de las partes.
2. Derogaci´n, invalidación, modificación de una decisión judicial apelada, por parte del superior.
3. Recurso mediante l cual se pretende la derogación de un fallo por parte el mismo órgano que lo dictó.

Ergo, I do not think that REVOCACIÓN applies to your query, which in any case is not to invalidate or dismiss but to reopen, reargue the case. IMHO.
