Cabe destacar que "magistrado" y "magistrate" son falsos amigos. Al menos en el sistema federal de EEUU un "magistrate" se compara a un juez de instrucción o de primera instancia.
El equivalente a un "magistrado" de la corte suprema es el supreme court "justice".

agree  Sandro Tomasi: Si nos regimos por el término completo que expone Rocío en su ¨intento¨, esta sería la respuesta --teniendo en cuenta el término común, Corte Suprema, como así los regionalismos, Tribunal Supemo (Esp.), Suprema Corte (Méx.), por lo menos a nivel nacional.
