English to Spanish translations [PRO]

English term or phrase: dull bird

I'm working in a transklation (English to Spanish) about field work concerning birds, particularly New Guinea birds. The latin name of the bird (named by Rothschild) is Amblyornis flavifrons, which in English is translated as "dull bird with a yellow front".

I don't know any more about this bird, so I cannot find the right translation for "dull"... (could be "torpe", "lento", "sin punta", "opaco", "deslustrado", "débil", "apagado" or many more options!). Can someone help me, please? THANK YOU!
